[PROTOCOLS]

I++ artists believe in a simple concept : the human behind the machine - although our productions are essentialy digital.
We're looking for new ways to compose, and avoid the pitfalls and clichés of electronic music - like the same suites of notes, simplist binary rythms.. We are trying by all means to free us from metronome, verse / chorus, and pentatonic.

In order not to generate a too much chaotic production, we put in place a democratically working protocol, which allows us to put limits to our musical research. For example, the first and oldest protocol pPRIME was established with seven free VST synthesizers, a hundred rythmic samples and simple constraints (limits of BPM, time pieces, etc.) Each of the artists then test these constraints, and experiments with different possibilities depending on his own sensibility.

Once we felt we made the round of a protocol, mostly after several dozen albums, we will build another. And here we go again.
